Persons of Interest
Case No. 08-15-2026
Subjects: Emily Blaser & Gabe Benedetto
Briefing
If you know Emily Blaser, you know she has a gift for investigation. And if you know Gabe Benedetto, you know he does his research. Some people are just built to be private eyes.
The following are case files in an ongoing investigation that will culminate this August.
Questions remain unanswered: Who licked the icing off the cupcakes? Will Gabe remember the rings? Will John Blaser cry during the ceremony? And most importantly – who will catch the bouquet? (Cast your vote below)
The central question of this investigation:
How does an uninvited guest become the love of your life?
CASE FILES
-

BENEDETTO WEBB, Aramina
Classification: Junior Operative
Last Known Location: With Tio Gabe & Tia Emily
Occupation: Keeping everyone on their toesAramina Webb entered the field at a young age and immediately became one of its most influential operatives. Her methods – big personality, sweet cuddles, endless energy – have proven highly effective on both subjects. She will be leading the processional on August 15th. The investigation has been advised not to underestimate her.
Filed by Tatianna Webb: “She absolutely adores her Tio Gabe and Tia Emily – and the feeling is completely mutual.”
-

BENEDETTO WEBB, Tatianna
Classification: ⚠️ Double Agent
Last Known Location: Washington
Occupation: Nurse PractitionerAs both sister to the groom and sister-in-law to the bride, Tatianna holds clearance on both sides of the investigation. She has spent a lifetime watching Gabe become who he is – and more recently, watching Emily become family. Her daughter, Agent Aramina, has been thoroughly compromised by both subjects.
On Record: “Anyone who knows Gabe knows how deeply he loves the people around him.”
Also On Record: “Becoming Emily’s sister-in-law has been such a gift.” -

BLASER, Bobby
Classification: ⚠️ Double Agent
Last Known Location: Unknown
Occupation: Unwilling test subjectBrother of the bride. Groomsman to the groom. Cleared by both parties, fully trusted by neither. Bobby Blaser spent years as an unwilling participant in an endless cat and mouse chase, the details of which remain classified.
On Record: “I can neither confirm nor deny anything. But I will say – I was undefeated at Catch Phrase.”
-

COOMBS, Stephen
Classification: Undercover Asset
Last Known Location: Edmonds, WA
Occupation: Clinical Informaticist & Physical TherapistFirst encountered the subject through mutual contacts in high school, with a deeper alliance forged after college. Considered a reliable asset with a promising short game.
On Record: “Gabe and I are currently learning how to golf – we go to the driving range on Thursday nights.”
-

DONOGHUE, Katherine
Classification: Accomplice
Last Known Location: Gig Harbor, WA
Occupation: Graduate Student & ArtistEmbedded in the subject’s inner circle since 2007, Katherine logged early field hours in a silver Jetta outside a Gig Harbor Safeway – people-watching, snack-stocked, for hours at a time. Her testimony confirms what we already suspected: Emily Blaser could have been a P.I. if she’d wanted to.
On Record: “She could find information on anyone, often without a name to go off of. Especially impressive, considering all we had were yearbooks, school directories, and MySpace.”
-

DOWDLE, Ben
Classification: Trusted Ally
Last Known Location: Bothell, WA
Occupation: Account Manager, VetcoveFirst made contact with the subject on a high school trip to Whistler and has been along for the operation ever since – concerts, weekend getaways, a shared fraternity sleeping porch, and most recently, golf. Has been known to recruit the subject into new hobbies with remarkable success.
On Record: “Gabe is always authentically himself, and I’m lucky to call him one of my best friends.”
-

DOWDLE, JP
Failure to establish communication.
-

DREW, Alyssa
Classification: Key Witness
Last Known Location: Seattle, WA
Occupation: Private Wealth ManagementMet the subject freshman year at UW, later becoming her roommate. She claims no small responsibility for case No. 08-15-2026. This office agrees.
On Record: “I take partial credit in indirectly introducing Emily and Gabe.”
-

HORTON, Maggie
Classification: Surveillance Photographer
Last Known Location: Bellevue, WA
Occupation: Graphic DesignerSpent her formative years as an unwilling test subject while the older operatives honed their craft. On one documented occasion, she approached the group seeking entry, only to find them inexplicably absorbed in books. She was too young to read and did not gain entry. The older girls maintain this was standard operational procedure, but she has her own theory. The photographic record of the subjects exists because of Horton – a natural fit, given her lifelong familiarity with being on the wrong side of the lens.
On Record: “I don’t care if you have webcam footage of me licking the icing off those cupcakes – I was FRAMED!”
-

LEMOND, Libby
Classification: Chief of Operations
Last Known Location: Seattle, WA
Occupation: Nurse PractitionerA seasoned Clue veteran – the Harry Potter edition, for the record – Libby and Emily have long understood that the answer is always in the details. Who had the motive? Who had the means? Who was in the library with the candlestick? These are the questions that shaped them. Nurse Practitioner by day, and the quiet force keeping Case No. 08-15-2026 on schedule by night – sourcing décor from estate sales, booking vendors, and ensuring the operation stays moving.
On Record: “Some friendships just feel like home. The Blasers have always been that for us.”
-

LOVROVICH, Kaylan
Classification: Lead Counsel
Last Known Location: Seattle, WA
Occupation: Attorney, Washington Innocence ProjectTechnically, first contact was made in 4th grade via a pen pal exchange – horses, basketball, and being tall, all confirmed points of common ground. Paths diverged until senior year of high school, when Emily chose the seat next to Kaylan in class. A sorority at UW sealed the deal. It is worth noting that Kaylan spends her days overturning wrongful convictions, which this office finds either deeply reassuring or deeply suspicious.
On Record: “In my professional opinion, she’s one of the good ones. And I have evidence.”
-

STEWART, Lucy
Classification: Handler
Last Known Location: Los Angeles, CA
Occupation: DesignerAs one whole year older than the subject, Lucy was responsible for Emily’s early field training. Together they conducted covert surveillance on younger siblings and tailed their mothers through IKEA via walkie talkie. Their most sophisticated operation to date: a Hawaii field assignment requiring them to interview unsuspecting handsome strangers – for research purposes, naturally.
On Record: “Emily’s got grace, stealth, and ambition – everything you’d want in a top agent.”
-

SWAFFIELD, Bryan
Classification: Search & Rescue Operative
Last Known Location: Sultan, WA
Occupation: Parks Maintenance and Search & Rescue VolunteerA man who spends hundreds of hours annually in the field and once summited Asgaard Pass in three feet of snow. When his feet went numb at the top, the subject – without hesitation – offered himself as a warming station. Field assessment: Gabe Benedetto is either very kind or very brave. Possibly both.
On Record: “So Gabe, with his pure heart of gold, let me put my bare feet on his stomach so I could regain circulation. It was a warm and touching moment indeed.”
-

WEBB, Ty
Classification: Embedded Asset
Last Known Location: Washington
Occupation: Specialty CarpenterOriginally from Montana, now firmly embedded in the family unit as Tatianna’s husband and Gabe’s brother-in-law. A specialty carpenter who takes considerable pride in building things with his hands – and has watched Gabe build something equally solid. Considered a reliable witness with no known agenda.
On Record: “Gabe is someone people naturally trust and enjoy being around.”
-

ZEITER, Olivia
Classification: Evidence Analyst
Last Known Location: Unknown
Occupation: Human ResourcesMade first contact with the subject in Gamma Phi at UW. Has maintained an active and ongoing debate with the subject for years on a matter of significant personal importance: bar soap versus liquid soap. This case remains open. No resolution is expected.
On Record: “One of my favorite memories with Blaser – and a constant ongoing debate we've had over the years – is whether or not bar soap or liquid soap is better.”
